The Chiropractor

Nate Rankin

Overview
Nate has always had a drive and passion for all things health-related and has been involved in athletics from a young age. He was introduced to Chiropractic after many traumatic rugby injuries, which led him to research methods for healing the body. After trying almost everything, yet continually getting injured and knowing innately something wasn’t right, he thankfully met Dr. Webb, a doctor of chiropractic, in 2015. Dr. Webb loved rugby and chiropractic so much that he offered adjustments to Nate and the rest of his University rugby team, free of charge. Dr Webb helped correct Nate's subluxations and through chiropractic, he began to heal. Nate would not have been able to play rugby as long as he did after his traumatic neck injury and still be as healthy as he is today without Chiropractic adjustments. Nate currently trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), and attributes the luxury and privilege of being able to do so to Chiropractic.  Nate studied and graduated as a Chiropractor at the Anglo European Chiropractic College (AECC) in 2022 and established Innate Chiropractic in late 2022.

Experience
Nate acquired many injuries while on a rugby scholarship in America from 2012 to 2016, three of which required surgery. One of particular significance was his neck injury in 2014 where he jumped up to catch a rugby ball and unfortunately landed on his neck which led to a 10-minute seizure. His nerves were impinged upon, therefore his breathing stopped and eventually, so did his heart. Thankfully, Nate was resuscitated before the defibrillation machine was needed. By correcting the subluxation in his neck, he is now functioning as optimally as possible and enjoying a high quality of life by allowing innate to be expressed fully throughout his body.

Personal
Nate graduated from Lindenwood University in the United States with a degree in Physical Education and minors in Strength & Conditioning and Health & Wellness.  Nate started his personal training career in America where he practiced for 2 years. He then continued to develop his understanding and education of all things health-related as he continued coaching for a further 3 years once back living in Northern Ireland. Nate is now working as a chiropractor and is extremely passionate about the results and the feedback he gets from his patients. With a background in athletics and such personal experiences with traumatic injuries, Nate is empathetic and knows firsthand how debilitating and life-altering injuries can be.  He now knows the importance of excellent chiropractic care can truly make a difference for anyone's quality of life.  Nate continues to engage in sports and athletic activities regularly, he also is passionate about furthering his chiropractic knowledge as much as he can.
